MilleFeuille Photography was created in February 2006 as a synthesis of my passion of travel and photography. The images encapsulate my inspiration while experiencing foreign lands and interacting with the people of our world. Through my travels and photography, I endeavor to share the beauty of our world's many layers.
MilleFeuille is the idea that multiples layers exist within each of us and within our world. MilleFeuille is about exposing those layers and inspiring others to go and embrace their passion. As we each become more in touch with the layers within us, those layers interact with the many dimensions of our world.
Being out and interacting with people reminds me that common culture and spoken language are not necessary to communicate…we can drop into a deeper human rhythm that allows us to communicate from the heart and touch souls.
In 2003, my desire to see the world led me to spend nine months traveling through Southern and Eastern Africa in a 1984 Land Cruiser. Following Africa, my gypsy blood stirred again and I headed to Southeast Asia having given up the urban jungle to search jungles further afield.
Currently, I reside in my native California and dedicate much of my time to MilleFeuille Photography. Along with shooting free lance photography I can be found on the art festival circuit.
Through my travels, I gained a new perceptive on the world while embarking on an internal journey that led to the images you see before you.
